Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Overview
These Terms apply to the use of Moderando. Full legal operator and contact information is available in the Imprint.
Moderando provides AI-assisted facilitation support for designing, running, and following up on structured workshops and meetings. By using Moderando, you agree to these terms.
2. Professional Review Required
Moderando provides AI-assisted suggestions and facilitation support only and does not make decisions on behalf of users, organisations, employees, participants, clients, or other third parties. Outputs must be reviewed and adapted by the user before professional use. Moderando does not provide legal, medical, psychological, financial, HR compliance, or professional advice, and does not replace a professional facilitator, lawyer, HR expert, therapist, doctor, or compliance advisor.
3. AI-Generated Content
Agendas, facilitator guidance, scripts and session materials produced by Moderando are AI-assisted suggestions. Moderando uses AI to create suggested content from the information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting generated content before using it in a professional setting. Moderando does not guarantee that every generated suggestion is complete or suitable for every professional context.
4. AI Output Limitations
AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or suggestions that require human review. You should not rely on Moderando as a compliance, legal, HR, medical, or psychological decision-maker. You remain responsible for reviewing, assessing, adapting, approving, and deciding whether and how to use all Moderando outputs. Moderando outputs are not a substitute for your own judgment or for qualified professional advice where such advice is required. Always review and adapt generated content before using it in real sessions.
5. Customer Content
You retain ownership of the content you enter into Moderando. To provide and operate the service, you grant Moderando a limited permission to process, store, and generate from that content as necessary to deliver the facilitation plans, reports and features you request, in accordance with these terms and our Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to operating the service and does not transfer ownership of your content to Moderando.
6. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use, edit, share, and implement outputs from Moderando. You remain responsible for the final professional, organisational, operational, HR, project, strategy, personnel, or other decisions you make using Moderando. You must make sure your use of Moderando complies with your own organization’s policies and applicable laws. You are responsible for obtaining any required permission before entering third-party or employee information into Moderando.
7. Sensitive Situations
Sensitive workplace, HR, personnel, conflict, legal, or compliance situations should be reviewed by qualified professionals where needed. Moderando is designed to support responsible facilitation but should not be used as a substitute for professional advice in sensitive contexts. Please consult qualified professionals where needed.
8. Data and Privacy
You should not enter unnecessary sensitive personal data into Moderando. Session content is processed to generate facilitation plans and reports. For details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy and our Trust & Security overview.
9. Accounts and Billing
You are responsible for your account and subscription. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly depending on your selection. You can cancel at any time. Usage limits reset monthly. Billing is processed securely by Stripe.
No VAT charged according to §19 UStG.
You keep access to your account data after cancellation, but paid features are available only while your subscription is active. When you cancel, you keep your current paid access until the end of your paid billing period. After your subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan: existing sessions remain visible but become read-only, and you can no longer generate new sessions beyond the Free limit, regenerate plans, create follow-up reports, duplicate paid sessions, produce clean exports without Moderando branding, or use custom branding. Reactivate your plan at any time to restore full access.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Moderando for unlawful activities or to generate harmful, offensive, or discriminatory content. You agree not to attempt to access data belonging to other users or workspaces.
11. Disclaimer
Moderando is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation.
